‘Buff Cochin’ is, as the title suggests, a portrait of a Buff Cochin, a lively and fluffy hen. I’ve always thought that chickens are under-appreciated. While most people think of hens and roosters simply as food or farm-country livestock, I see them as complex and fascinating creatures. Hens are gorgeous, definitely one of the most exotic and fanciful birds in the animal kingdom; not only in appearance, but equally in personality.

This is a hand-printed, 6-layer silkscreen created in a limited edition of 10, with this particular piece printed on white Rives BFK paper. Each print is numbered and signed by the artist.
